A Masterpiece on the Water
Every time I walk past the Rijksmuseum, I’m blown away by how grand it is, but my favorite way to see it is actually in the reflection of the water out front. On a still day, it’s like seeing the building twice—once in the sky and once in the canal.
I sat by the water to paint this because I loved the way the red brick and the old towers looked mirrored in the ripples. To me, it’s the heart of the city’s art soul. Whether you’ve spent hours wandering the galleries inside or just love the view from the outside, I hope this card brings a bit of that classic Amsterdam beauty to your home.
